This lecture we go into how to handle a very common corner invasion that comes up when your opponent has some claim to the corner, but does not have the whole thing.

There are some shapes that come up a lot in games, and also, they are key to learning some basic patterns and tesuji that will come up often enough. This shape occurs when we invade a corner that looks secure, but isn't.

The double approach patterns get to be pretty complicated pretty quickly, but they come up so often in amateur games it's good that we know them. Some of the variations I'd file under "must memorize."

These variations are seldom seen in games, but they are interesting and it's nice to be able to spring a new variation on your opponent when they least expect it!
